Bolaven Cafes opened its first outlet in Malaysia on the sunny island of Langkawi. It is a collaborative effort with the Tiger! Tiger! Gallery & Exhibit, with whom Bolaven Cafes Langkawi share a common shareholder. Guests to Bolaven Cafes Langkawi @ Tiger! Tiger! may observe the antics of a tame, hand-raised tiger frolic in the grass or take a dip in her pool from behind a glass wall. The Tiger! TIger! Gallery & Exhibit is a private initiative at increasing the awareness fo the Malayan Tiger and highlighting the plight of the 500 remaining tigers in the wild.
