Church of St. Joseph was built by REV FR Nicholas Pagani on march 09th 1867 in lonavala.
In 1971 Rev Fr Gregory Jose renovated the main alter and erected the the large crucifix in the sanctuary. The Church was reconstructed and the compound was fenced.Since then it has become one of the main Church for the catholic people staying in lonavala
