In 1501, during the reign of Mehmud Begda, an octagonal shaped step well was built as a serene retreat for the vacationer. Right from stamped floral caucuses to the wavy sculptures, every part of the Dada Hari Vav has been perfectly designed. The step well is perfect blend of the Hindu and Muslim handwork. Festooned arches, columns and panes shows wonderful carvings and elegant designs of that time period.
