Owners Marilisa and Christiano Visaggi take on traditional rustic Sicilian food with a youthful, refined twist in this little restaurant located near the Complesso Museale di Santa Chiara. In order to take advantage of the freshest produce available, the menu changes very often but is executed with great skill and attention to detail. Appetizers like the warm, pan-fried anchovies with crushed almonds and crunchy, bite-sized panelle fritters are wonderful to start with, perhaps followed by ravioli caprese, pork medallions with caramelized figs, or a pan-fried Orata sea bream with a side of pickled onion and olives.
