About

On January 16, 1906, the Hamburger Golf-Club was founded in Hamburg's "Patriotic Building". From 1928 to 1930, the world-famous golf-course architects Colt, Alison, and Morrison created a masterpiece of English golf architecture on the club's premises that still exists today.Clubhouse

To move the Hamburg Golf Club of Flottbeck (1906-1930) to Falkenstein (from October 1930) also had the financing and construction of a new clubhouse be arranged in addition to the construction of the place.

The Hamburg patron Max Emden (Kaufhaus King) presented the financial resources available and so the Hamburg architect Schramm and Elingius were commissioned to build a functional, beautiful and distinctive clubhouse.

This is obviously succeeded, because the white, long stretched buildings in the Bauhaus style, is appreciated and is rare to find both in its style and design as well as features on other golf courses.
