There are very few vegetarian restaurants in Melaka,most have shut down or moved.Hui Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant is a inexpensive place with very tasty food.They serve fried mee hoon & noodle with a wide selection of dishes. Not too oily. They also serve a few local dishes like Wanton noodle, Nasi Lemak, Assam Laksa, Curry Laksa, etc.The Assam Laksa is a must try. An authentic nyonya dish in vegetarian that can hardly be found !!!
