International Tsunami Museum is a small museum in the village of Bang Niang middle of Khao Lak area, some miles south of Khuek Khak municipality Takua Pa , province Phang Nga on the west coast of Thailand . The museum recalls the strong effect tsunami had here 26 December 2004 , when 5231 people were killed and 8457 injured in Thailand, of which about 80% of those in Khao Lak area.
