The Killarney August Racing Festival will combine horse racing with a festival atmosphere for all race-goers.The first three days of racing are all evening meetings. Wednesday features the Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes with a prize fund of €40,000; and Thursday is a mixed race card and features The Tote Kingdom Gold Cup with a prize fund of €50,000. On Friday, race-goers will enjoy an all national hunt card which will feature the Ladbrokes Handicap Steeplechase and The McSweeney Arms Handicap Hurdle. With a prize fund of over €100,000 on offer for the evening some great racing is expected. Killarney Racecourse's Ladies Days have a long association with style and elegance and Saturday will see Killarney Racecourse host its Littlewoods Ireland Ladies Day. Ladies will dress to impress to win the fabulous prize of a €1,500 Littlewoods Ireland shopping spree and coveted title of Best Dressed Lady.
