About

Built in 1910 by Swiss architects Karl Moser and Robert Curjel, the Zurich Kunsthaus is home to one of the most substantial collections of fine art in Switzerland. The permanent collection includes works from the late Gothic period to contemporary movements in modern art, with a focus on art from Switzerland. In particular, the Kunsthaus houses the most extensive collection of work by 20th century Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti. Other featured famous artists include Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Paul Klee, Paul Gauguin and Claude Monet.
