Lady Hydari Park is one of the most famous places to visit in Shillong. With sprawling a green lawn, well-manicured garden and varieties of flora dotting the park, you will feel like staying here all day long. Run by the state forest department, this scenic spot is something that should not be missed out. You will find a mini-zoo, which is quite popular with tourists from all over the world. The children's park nearby is quite crowded with numerous kids coming there to play and enjoy the spacious park. Stretching over half a kilometre, this huge park is quite close to the mesmerising Crinoline Falls. After a day of sight-seeing and walking in the park, if you feel too tired to go to the falls, you can enjoy a cool dip in the city's only pool, which has the same name as that of the falls.
