One of the premier spots for people to meet up, Me and U 2 is a bar and restaurant. Its spacious outdoor seating affords a fantastic view of the water, while the central, circular bar is great for grabbing a drink and chatting it up with the regulars. The bar serves a wide selection of food and beverages. Me and U 2 is especially known for their pizzas, having over 40 different kinds with ingredients hard to find in the area, including pineapples, blue cheese, and pepperoni. The bar is located in the popular Haiwan Park area close to many other foreigner bars and expat hangouts. At night and on the weekends, the bar transforms from a laid back venue to a very busy and popular nightspot. If you're looking for a place to hang out and talk to friends, this is not the place, especially on weekends. The bar features live performances many nights of the week, with bands playing popular Asian and Western songs. When the band isn't playing, the three gigantic TV screens play music videos and the latest sports, from rugby to soccer matches. The owner of the bar, Ulf, is a great host, and when he's not up on stage introducing the band or cheering guests, he's in amongst the crowd, talking and chatting with customers.
