The Municipal Market of Sao Paulo is a major public market of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It was inaugurated on January 25  of 1933  to be a commercial hub of  wholesale and retail, specializing in the marketing of fruits, vegetables, grains, meats, spices and other food products. The market is located in the old center of Sao Paulo, capital of the eponymous state  Brazil, wins over an area the Tamanduateí river, in the neighborhood Market in the old Lowland do Carmo.
