The décor at Ming's is minimalist, done up in black and gold, adorned by Ming vases and spice and condiment boxes in various niches. Laughing Buddha statues greet you as you ascend the steps through the lobby to reach the restaurant. The culinary repertoire encompasses authentic flavours of Mandarin, Cantonese, Hunan and Szechwan specialities. The Prawn Pepper Salt, Minced Chicken and Crackling Deep-fried Spinach are nice. The Chicken Taronest and Shredded Lamb with Red and Green Pepper go well with the Shanghai Fried Rice, a nice preparation of fluffy rice and soft-fried noodles sautéed with shredded vegetables. Vegetarians can opt for the Okra and Potato Kung Pao. Ask for the chef's special dishes: they change it frequently.
