Private Tour: Historical Malacca Full-Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur including Lunch

About

A tour for the history enthusiast - this private sightseeing tour gives you the opportunity to see the historic Malaysian state of Malacca with ease. Malacca is the oldest trading port in Malaysia with a strong Portuguese, Dutch and English influence. You will have the opportunity to sample a local lunch before heading back to Kuala Lumpur. Approximately 2 hours south of Kuala Lumpur is historical Malacca, the third smallest state in Malaysia and one of the oldest, and most strategic, trading ports in Malaysia which has undergone Portuguese, Dutch and English rule. Visit St. Paul's Hill for a panoramic view of Malacca and its straits as well as the old town of Bandar Hilir. View the famous gateway, the well known Portuguese Fort de Santiago and the ruins of St. Paul's Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Malacca is most well-known for its food. Most notable of all is the Nyonya-Baba cuisine which is a mixture of Chinese and Malay cooking with most dishes which are spicy in nature. You will enjoy a local lunch (included) before taking a stroll along the 'Antique Row' in Jonker Street. On the way back to Kuala Lumpur you will stop by the Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, to view Kampong Kling, a typical Malay village.
