The Royal Flying Doctor Service Kalgoorlie Visitor Centre is situated at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport and provides a rare insight into the work of one of Australia's truly legendary organisations. They urge you to come and discover their remarkable story for yourself. Their friendly tour guide will take you on an inspiring journey, beginning with the life of the contemporary 'Flying Doctor', heading back through the chronicles of their history, to the colourful characters of years gone by. The Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre commemorates the fierce determination of those early pioneers intent on enhancing the lot of people living and travelling in Western Australia's rugged outback. You can take home a memento of your visit too; their charming gift shop is full of stylish branded clothing, gifts and souvenirs. All proceeds from your purchase will be used to keep the doctor flying so your support is very much appreciated. Entry is by donation.
