Sevoke Kali Mandir

Kali Mandir, a Hindu temple is one of the most venerated places in the town, located nearby Sevoke. Associated with mythology, newly wed couples pay homage at the shrine for their joyful married life. The Goddess Durga in the form of Kali is established at the shrine. Sculpture of the Goddess is covered with jewels and arms like sword and armoury.

Dedicated to Goddess Kali, the temple is visited by innumerable devotees during the period of Durga Puja and Navratri, which is celebrated with pomp. During this period, the natives display various attractive shows and processions.
