Part art gallery, part design concept store and part creative studio, SHO Bcn delivers unique urban style to the heart of Gràcia, just a few steps from lively Plaça del Sol and Plaça Vila. SHO was opened in November 2009 by art toy collector Diana Roura and her partner, Jaime Paz, who chose to fight back against the global credit crunch with a store named after the Japanese word for both 'brilliant' and 'prosperous'. Inside, the minimalist décor is offset by two vibrant hand-drawn murals designed by the famous Barri Groc Studio located in Badalona and Cesc Grané, a catalan illustrator from the neighborhood.
