White beaches, crystal clear sea, so much sun and fun! There are several points recommended for swimming here at Gallipoli, some very popular, others a bit less, we try to make a complete list: Starting from the north coast of Gallipoli Lido Conchiglie, a small seaside town very busy during the summer season is about 8 km from Gallipoli and presents a sometimes rocky coast and sandy stretches that extends about 3 km, here are some bathing in the sandy areas, cost is free. Continuing our journey in the south we arrive in Rivabella, just 5km from Gallipoli, the coast is predominantly sandy, with two beaches, and some stretches of beach are lined with pine trees, hence the surface is about 1.5 km. From Gallipoli to Rivabella are 3 km of coast consisting mostly of rocks. In the old part of town we have a beach very feature called "The Purity", the beach is named after the nearby church, and was for many years the reference point for citizens of Gallipoli. You enter through an alley down along the old city walls, here we have about 300 meters of beach composed of sand, from this point you have a wonderful view of the old city, a very beautiful beach. Leaving the city center, toward the coast along Lungomare Galilei, are characterized by a rocky coast, which in some places, occur at about 3 meters above sea level. Going over there Lido San Giovanni, this beach is one of the first to be built from the outset and has attracted many bathers in the beach and adjacent areas are a clear sea and a beautiful sandy coastline. Following there is Baia Verde, one of the most known and most popular here at Gallipoli, the coast is mostly composed of sand, the sea is wonderfully clear, and has a very impressive panoramic view of the coast of Gallipoli, where we can find several beaches and some stretches of beach. Punta della Suina is a beach made from an inlet on the coast, one of the most beautiful and colorful here in Salento. Soon after we arrive in Punta Pizzo, here we find a beach that stretches for about 2 km, beaches are one of the best known and most "IN" on the coast, Lido Pizzo. In between Punta Pizzo there are several areas that are part of the natural park "Island of St. Andrew-coast of Punta Pizzo. From Point Pizza Mancaversa are 4km of coast is predominantly mountainous and low.
