Sree Chithra Art Gallery is an art gallery located in the Museum compound and displays a rare collection of mainly Indian paintings. The main attractions are paintings by world famous Kerala painter . Sree Chitra Art Gallery is a perfect example of the fusion of Indian and contemporary art. The beautiful pictures telling age-old histories, idols made of wood, metal and ivory. Works of several prominent artists like Raja Ravi Verma and Rabindranath  Tagore. Another attraction of the art gallery is the section on Indian mural paintings ranging from pre-historic times to the 18th century AD.
