It is a favourite shopping spot for many visitors as well as locals, especially during traditional celebrations and festivals, when the participants wear clothes made from special fabrics. The multitude of shops offer an incredible choice of colorful silk, organza, cotton, batik and other materials. Some of them are local, and some are imported from abroad.
