The Sire - located at House of Yeap Chor Ee is the first museum restaurant ever set up in Penang. Its concept, which is of Peranakan in spirit with the fusion way of life, and a mixture of different cultural influences, the old and the new was also the former home of Yeap Chor Ee, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in Penang, before he and his family moved to Homestead, now the Wawasan Open University.
