Here you can see three teertham like Rama teertham,setha teertham and lakshmana teertham. Close to this temple is the sea. A part of the sea which is about 1 km in area is called the Agni Tirtha or the holy water of fire. Although it may seem paradoxical to us, this water is charged with the element of fire. Another extraordinary thing about this tirtha is that though we may walk into this sea, which is a part of Bay of Bengal for a distance of one kilometer here, the water remains only knee deep.
