The Vilangan hills is close by city,less than 5kms from the city center,provides an excellent view of the city and towards west till the Arabian sea. nice refreshing wind blows.,best time to visit evening. Take your children there.They will surely love the place.Also you can get a complete view of Thrissur town from Vilangan Kunnu. There are a few sculptures and a few amusement rides for children. It's good for the local people for a break.
