Waialae Country Club in Honolulu on the island of Oahu is one of Hawaii's most historic golf clubs, dating back to 1927. The golf course was designed by Seth Raynor and hosted the first Hawaiian Open in 1928. The course underwent significant changes prior to first hosting the Sony Open in 1999 and now plays over 7,000 yards.
