Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is dedicated to Shiva. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m, about 141 km from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Pahalgam town.
Day 1: Arrival Srinagar - Sonamarg (84 Kms / 2-3 Hrs Drive)
Day 2: Sonamarg – Baltal - Srinagar (15 Kms/ 45 Mints Drive)
Early morning transfer from Sonamarg to Baltal with packed Breakfast. Upon arrival at Baltal Depart for the Holy Amarnath cave by helicopter. Helicopters start operating at 6:00 a.m. (weather permitting) you will have approximately 3 hour for Yatra. Return to Baltal via helicopter, you will be met by driver and transferred to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar, check in at houseboat, overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar
After breakfast transfer for sightseeing Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. Evening Sikara Ride at Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Departure Srinagar
After breakfast transfer to Airport to board your scheduled flight for Delhi.
