About the tour
The capital city of Orissa all about simple pleasures and timeless beauties as the city is home to various wonderful temples, thronged by visitors all across the year. Puri is part of the Char Dham pilgrimages and also one of the 7 holy Indian cities. Puri's top attraction is the highly revered Jagannath Temple, famed for its Chariot Festival. One can also visit the Shanti Stupa atop Dhauli Hill and enjoy the splendid view of the Daya River winding its way through paddy fields.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Bhubaneswar
On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport /Railway station met by our representative. Then transfer to hotel. Later half day sightseeing of tribal museum (closed on Monday), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock cut caves ). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 2: In Bhubaneswar
Morning after breakfast visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar ( gem of Orissan architecture ), Rajarani temple. After lunch break visit to Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Monday).This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 3: Bhubaneswar – Anugul – Satkosia
Morning after breakfast drive to Satkosia via Anugul. On arrival check in to the tented accommodation. Afternoon boat cruse, evening scenery and typical crocodiles basking on river bank. Overnight in the Tent.
Day 4: In Satkosia
Morning take the boat cruise in Satkosia Gorge. And you can come across plenty of Mugger & Gharial basking along the sand banks. Evening trekking along the natures trail, bonfire. Overnight in the Tent.
Day 5: Satkosia – Bhitarkanika
Morning after breakfast drive to Rajnagar and take the boat cruise to Dangamal-hub of the sanctuary (45 minutes scenic cruise from Khola-entry point). Enjoying the Mangrove forest, crocodiles and innocent deer by boat cruise. Arrival at dangmal and Check in at the Forest cottage. Evening with a cup of Tea/coffee relax with the endangered deer. Overnight at Forest cottage.
Day 6: In Bhitarkanika
After breakfast morning cruise in a creek to Birdas point (BAGAGAHAN) and enjoy the trekking inside the Mangrove jungle. On cruise back fantastic view of the nature. Lunch break at the Forest cottage and then trekking down to the Watch tower to view the largest wild animal grazing in the wide range of open space. Evening walk down to the cottage and enjoy bonfire. Overnight in Forest cottage.
Day 7: Bhitarkanika – Puri
After morning breakfast cruise back to Khola ( the exit point ) to have last look to natures paradise . Then drive back to Puri via Bhubaneswar. Check in to the hotel. Then relax on the golden beach. Overnight at Puri.
Day 8: Puri – Konark – Puri
Morning drive to konark to visit the Sun temple ( one of the world famous heritage site, also known as black pagoda ). Enroute visit Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach. Also visit to the Fishermens village. Return back to Puri. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed) / Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.
Day 9: Puri – Hirapur – Pipli – Dhauli – Bhubaneswar
Morning drive back to Bhubaneswar enroute visit Hirapur ( hypaethral temple of sixty four yoginis ), Pipli ( appliqua village ) & Dhauli ( the peace pagoda ). On arrival at Bhubaneswar check in to the hotel. Rest time is free for shopping / own activities. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 10: Departure From Bhubaneswar
After Morning Breakfast transfer from hotel to Airport/Railway station for onwards journey.
