Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive At Bangalore And Bangalore Sightseeing
Check in at the hotel. Later go for sightseeing and visit Bangalore Palace, Lal Bagh, Cubbon park, Museum, Iskcon Temple, Vidhana Soudha & Bull Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Bangalore.
Day 2: Bangalore To Mysore
Start Bangalore by 8 AM. Arrive at Mysore and visit Chamundi Hills (temple dedicated to goddess Chamundi), Nandi Statue, Wax Museum, Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, St. Philominas Church, Tippu Summaer Palace, Ranganath Swamy Temple, Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Mysore Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the city and the local market. Relax at the hotel during the afternoon. Enjoy the day-to-day life of the local people. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Mysore To Coorg
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Coorg. Checkin at the hotel. Later take a sightseeing and visit Omkareshwara Temple. This temple is an amazing mix of Catholic, Gothic and Islamic architecture. Drive to Abbey Falls, which is about 7 kms from Madikeri, Madikeri fort and Gaddige or Raja's Tomb. Culminate your trip with a visit to Raja's Seat at Mercara. This is a garden of seasonal flowers and was the favorite of the Kings of Kodagu. If time permits watch a breath taking sunset. Late evening return to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Kushalnagar Sightseeing
After breakfast visit the Golden Temple and the Buddhist settlement at Bylekuppe. Thereafter visit Kaveri Nisargadhama, a small island created by the split of the Kaveri River. There is an Ecological Park, a deer Park, a small snack house and even facilities for boating. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Coorg To Ooty
"After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Ooty. Checkin at the hotel. Afternoon go for a sightseeing and visit Ooty Centenary Rose Garden, Ooty Lake (Boat House), Children's Park, Government museum, Doddabetta Peak (before 5 pm), and Botanical garden. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 7: Coonoor Sightseeing
- "After breakfast, take a full day sightseeing trip to Coonoor and visit Tea Gardens, Wax Museum, Ketti Valley view, MRC regiment (Military Camp, outside view only), Dolphin nose, Sim's Park and Lambs Rock. Evening return to Ooty. Overnight at the hotel.
