After breakfast, prepare for a full day excursion to glacial Tsomgo Lake (12,310 feet), and the temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (a very holy site for all) – at a short distance of only 40 kms from Gangtok. Home to the Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds, the 1 kilometer long lake is oval shaped and nearly 50 feet deep. The surface reflects different colours with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkimese folk. Dr. J A Graham, a Scottish missionary, Delo Hill (5556 ft) appears to be the roof- of- the- world, is the highest point in Kalimpong.
