Meghalaya’, is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Megh’ meaning Cloud and ‘Alaya’ meaning home. The Capital of Meghalaya, Shillong is one of the major tourist destinations in North East India. The British loved this place so much that they had established it as the Capital for Eastern Bengal and Assam. For its climate and unique topographical features the British referred to Shillong as the “Scotland Of The East”.
Day 01: Pickup Guwahati Airport (10:30am) And Drive To Shillong
Sightseeing : Kamakhya Temple, Umiam Lake. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 02 : Cherapunjee Sighseeing
Sightseeing - Shillong Peak, Elephant falls,Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge,Ram Krishna Mission, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park (Water Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park, Khon Ramhah and back to Shillong and Night halt.
Day 03 :drop At Guwahati Airport/railway Station (12:30pm)
Drop Guwahati Railway Station or Airport and Tour End.
