Day 1: Arrive Cochin And Drive To Munnar
Upon arrival at Cochin, our representative will meet and assist you to transfer to Munnar and brief you the tour. Then proceed to Munnar passing the Kerala villages, lush green hills through plantations. Pause at Cheeyappara Waterfalls to refresh yourself by crystal waters of the falls and reach Munnar for check in at the hotel. Evening free to relax at the hotel enjoying the soothing climate of Munnar or stroll through the town of Munnar. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. First visit the abode of Nilgiri Thar, a rare species. Eravikulam National Park lies at the crest of the Anaimalai ranges near Munnar spreading over 97 Sq. Km of ever green tropical forest. Then proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake. If you are at Munnar during the blossoming season of Neela Kurinji, a rare flower which blossom once in every twelve years, you will be excited to have a look at the flower. Return to hotel by evening. Camp fire can be arranged on your request as optional service. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar To Thekkady
After breakfast, check out and proceed your journey through the tea gardens and spice plantations to Periyar, known as Thekkady. Thekkady which is familiar for the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It is one of the finest wildlife reserve in India and spread across the entire district as picturesque plantation. On reaching Thekkady, check in at the hotel. Later you can enjoy the boat ride in the Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight at Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkay To Kumarakom
After breakfast check out from the hotel to drive to much awaited backwater village Kumarakom. It is a tourist village with a vast network of rivers and canals which empty into the great expanse of water called the Vembanad Lake. On arrival at Kumarakom, check into the houseboat for a cruise along the palm-fringed waterways. Traditional Kerala lunch and dinner will be served in the houseboat. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 5: Kumarakom To Kovalam
Morning relax in the house boat after breakfast. Then drive to Kovalam, the internationally renowned beach destination. Check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian Sea on the other. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Visit Trivandrum And Return To Kovalam
After breakfast in the hotel, proceed for sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, Capital City of God’s Own Country. Your visit includes Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Palace and Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Zoo. Return to hotel by evening. There are other options of sightseeing like, Veli tourist village, Neyyar Dam and Thenmala. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 7: Cochin Departure
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred on time to Cochin airport or railway station with ever lasting memories of Kerala holiday.
