Day 1: Arrival At Srinagar
Reach Srinagar by afternoon and use day to relax in the houseboat or hotel. Use evening for the world famous Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Also, visit floating market during Shikara ride. Dinner in the houseboat.
Day 2: Drive From Srinagar To Kargil
Leave Srinagar early morning after bed tea and move onwards for breakfast at Sonmarg. Start from Sonmarg after breakfast to reach Kargil early evening via Dras and view the magnificent Zozi La pass on the way. Witness the gradual change in the landscape from a green valley to a high altitude cold desert as you move ahead. Just before reaching Kargil, visit the 1999 Kargil War Memorial. Dinner and overnight stay at Kargil.
Day 3: Drive From Kargil To Leh
After breakfast, head onwards to Mulbek, home to a 2000 year old stone carved statue of Buddha. Head onwards to Lamayuru, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. Further ahead you will witness Moon Landscape and Magnetic Hill. See your vehicle defy gravity here. On the way also witness Sangam, confluence of Zanskar and Indus. Reach Leh early evening and relax in hotel.
Day 4: Local Sightseeing At Leh
Take a city tour including Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Sindhu Darshan and finally end the day at Shanti Stupa before dusk. Shanti Stupa is the most iconic structure in Leh. Head to bed early for next day's early morning journey.
Day 5: Drive From Leh To Pangong Tso
Leave early morning for Pangong Tso after breakfast at hotel via Chang La, the third highest motorable (5360 meter or 17590 feet above sea level) road in the world. Drive downwards to Pangong Tso. This lake of "3 Idiots" fame is world renowned for its changing colours throughout the day according to the sun's position and reflection. Dinner and overnight at lakeside camp.
Day 6: Drive From Pangong Tso To Leh
Leave early morning from Pangong Tso and have breakfast and see Hemis monastery on the way to Leh. Hemis is the largest monastery in Ladakh and has one of the most beautiful locations. It also consists of a museum which houses the largest collection of ancient Buddhist artifacts in India. Head to Leh after seeing Hemis and reach hotel by late afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Drive From Leh To Nubra Valley
Visit Leh market for last minute shopping of souvenirs etc. Use second half of the day for walking tour of Leh city. Head to bed early for next day's early morning journey.
Day 8: Drive From Nubra Valley To Leh
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Khardung La, the highest motorable road (5602 meter or 18380 feet above sea level) in the world. Drive downwards to Nubra Valley. Head onwards to Diskit Gompa (monastery) and to the sand dunes of Hundar. Ride the unique double-humped Bactrian camels(not included). Drive back to Diskit for dinner and overnight stay at hotel/guest house.
Day 9: Leisure At Leh
Leave early morning after breakfast and reach Leh early afternoon. On reaching Leh, head to the massive Leh Palace and Fort. End the day with a visit to Phyang monastery.
Day 10: Return Home To Unlimited Memories
Check-out and head to airport for your flight to Delhi. Trip ends on your arrival to the airport with a great travel experience.
