About the tour
Diu town sits at the east end of the island. The northern side of the island, facing Gujarat, is tidal marsh and salt pans, while the southern coast alternates between limestone cliffs, rocky coves and sandy beaches. Sasan Gir is a great destination for birders too, with over 300 species, most of them resident. Ahmedabad is Gujarat’s major city and a startling metropolis with a long history, many remarkable buildings, a fascinating maze of an old quarter.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrive Ahmedabad And Transfer To Diu
- Arrive Ahmedabad in the morning and drive to Diu. Check in at Hotel. A beautiful blend of sun, sand and sea, Diu is a God’s gift to those in quest of a blessed land where the weary weight of this unintelligible world can, for a while, be lightened and the waking soul can hear the music of the nature. This tiny island of breeze , beauty and serenity situated off the southern tip of the Saurashtra (Kathiawad) peninsula of Gujarat, Lapped by the Arabian Sea, is a picture of calmness with superb beaches and fascinating history.

Day 2: Diu Sightseeing
Today after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of the city. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Diu.
Day 3: Diu To Sasangir
After breakfast proceed to Sasangir. Afternoon proceed for safari at Sasangir- Gir National Park is one of the India's finest wildlife sanctuaries located in Gujarat. This national park is set up in an area of 1412 square km. of lush deciduous forests.You can visit the Gir National park by having a jeep ride with a guide. The Gir Forest Department also organize "Lion Shows". Overnight stay at Sasangir.
Day 4: Sasangir To Ahmedabad
After breakfast transfer to Ahmedabad and proceed for sightseeing. Enjoy the city tour by Visiting Akshardham- the Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar is one of the largest and most prominent temples in the entire state of Gujarat. Located in Gandhinagar city, the famous Akshardham temple is a place, which consists of a number of things under one roof like art, education, architecture, exhibitions and research. It is truly an architectural masterpiece.Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.
Day 5: Departure
Today after breakfast proceed to airport.
