Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Guwahati And Transfer To Shillong

  • Meet and greet upon arrival, then transfer to Shillong. En-route visit Umiam Lake ‘Barapani’ park. After lunch go for sightseeing.
  • The ‘Gleneagles of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. The sightseeing includes Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Culture, Ward’s Lake which is popular for short garden walks and boating. Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants and rare collection of orchids. Butterfly Museum is a storehouse of finest and rarest species of butterflies and moths. Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with stretches of roses and exquisite flowers. The Mini Zoo adjacent to the park has about 73 birds, 140 reptiles and mammals. Golf Course is one of the largest Golf courses in Asia. Spend the evening in the splendid arena. State Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. Shillong Peak displays a mesmerizing view of the scenic country side. Archery Stakes is a unique spot of Shillong. A gambling sport which is held every day (except Sundays) at 4.00 PM. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 2: Excursion To Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, excursion to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee is framed as the wettest place on Earth is 60 kms from Shillong. The journey from Shillong to Cherrapunjee offers a pleasant drive as one can witness numerous waterfalls and gorges. While the must visit places are the gorgeous Seven Sisters falls and the Mawsmai cave is in your tour plan. You can visit Thankarang Park if you have one more day in hand (Optional). You can also visit Ramkrishna School and Museum, Khasi Hills and Garo Hills, Eco Park, Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View and Dainthlen Waterfalls. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 3: Excursion To Dawki And Mawlynnong

After breakfast, excursion to Dawki. en-route visit Mawlynnong. It is a village, situated 90 kms ahead of Shillong, on the Shillong-Dawki Road. This village epitomizes a standard, which all other villages need to aspire to be. Dubbed the cleanest village in India by Discover India Magazine. Paved walkways and beautiful flowerbed all along mark the village, with waterfalls, a living root bridge, hilly rivulets, acacia plantation and an excellent view of the faraway plains of Bangladesh all contribute to the ambiance of this village. Farming of betel nut and leaves, broomsticks and pepper along with bee rearing are the primary economic activity of these regions. Later return back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong To Guwahati

After breakfast, if any sightseeing left out in Shillong it can be completed. Then transfer to Guwahati. In Guwahati you can visit Shankardev Kalakhetra, State Museum, Maa Kamakhya Temple, Balaji Temple and Umananda Temple in the middle of the Brahmaputra. Later check in hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast transfer to Airport or Railway station for departure. Your tour ends here with pleasant memories.

  • Check-in 08:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 08:00 hrs.
  • On arrival of guest at Airport our executive will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on the Airport. Railway Station.
  • The tourism infrastructure in North East is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of other cities & other developed destinations.
  • We request guests to contact our executive in case of any complaint/suggestions instead of asking driver to follow according to their wish.
  • On arrival of guests or at the time of issuing travel voucher, we will provide them local contact numbers of our Executive, who will handle the entire Operation.
  • Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back.
  • If for any reason any tourist spot is closed we shall not cover it on next day and if guest wants to do the same on next day then additional cost to be paid by the guests.
  • If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule they should be inform to our executive previous day of the schedule program before 16:00 hrs after that no changes are allowed. If the guest inform after 16:00 hrs. It will be consider as a cancellation with no refund or guest will pay extra cost for the re-schedule the sightseeing.
  • Guest pleased is informed to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our Executive.
  • Before 60 Days of Commencement Charges 25% on the Total Amount
  • Before 59 - 31 Days 30% Cancellation Charges of Total Amount
  • Before 30 – 15 Days of Commencement 50% Cancellation Charges of Total Amount
  • Before 14 - 7 Days of Commencement 75% Cancellation Charges of Total Amount
  • Less than 7 Days of Commencement no refund

  • If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel Arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any Circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
