Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Arrival At Patna
- Pick up at Airport / Railway Station on arrival at Patna. Check into hotel. Patna was known as
- Patliputra in ancient times. It was the capital of powerful kingdom of Magadh which in West
- started from modern day Afghanistan and extended till modern day Bangladesh in East. Several
- ancient Jain idols are placed in Patna Museum.
- In Gulzarbag area of Patna, 3 feet high idol of Bhagwan Neminath was established in Samvat
- 1840. The temple is situated in a garden, where a Statue of Seth Sudarshan of Patliputra is
- placed. On one side of the garden, foot symbols of Muni Sudarshan Swami are placed on a
- high Place which is called Sudarshan Tekri. There are four pools around the Tekri. On the bank
- of one of the pool, known as 'Kamal Dah' a monument footmarks of Muni Isthool Bhadra are
- placed in a chamber. It is believed he sought salvation along with 500 Munis from this place.
- Thereafter visit Kumhrar that has ruins of the ancient city of Pataliputra. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Transfer To Rajgir
- After breakfast, we will travel to Nalanda in AC taxi. This place has the ruins of world famous, Nalanda University which thrived between 5th and 12th century.
- From Pavapuri, travel to Rajgir for overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03 : Transfer To Patna
- After breakfast, take a trip of the holy city of Rajgir (Rajgrahi) which is a famous pilgrimage
- centre for Jains. This place is also known as Siddha Kshetra .Twentieth Teerthankar Bhagwan
- Muni Suvratnath's four Kalyanka - Garbha, Janma, Tapa and Gyan (Jnan) were celebrated at
- this sacred place. This place was capital of Magadha King Shrenik (Bimbsar). King Shrenik was
- the principal disciple of Bhagwan Mahavir.
Day 04 : Transfer To Patna Airport/ Railway Station
- After breakfast, visit Takth Shri Harimadir Sahib – birth place of Guru Gobind Singh – tenth
- Guru of Sikhs. Thereafter leave for Airport / Railway Station for return journey.
