Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Ixb Airport - Darjeeling (About 90 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / IXB and transfer to Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill Queen. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mountain Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) and back to hotel for lunch. Overnight Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok (About 115kms/ 4 Hrs)
Morning Transfer to Gangtok via Peshok Tea Gardens along the river Teesta. Overnight stay in the Hotel in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Overnight stay in the Hotel in Gangtok.
Day 5: In Gangtok
After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Ranka Monastery, Ban Jakri Falls, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and cottage industry. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight halt in Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok To Pelling (About 125 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Transfer to Pelling. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
Day 7: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls and Kanchendzonga falls, Khecheopalri Lake. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
Day 8: Pelling To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Ixb Airport (About 145 Kms /5 Hrs)
After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station or IXB Airport for return journey.
