Day 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport And Transfer To Gangtok
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for check in the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion To Tsongmo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast at the hotel you will depart for full day Sightseeing of Tsongmo Lake and Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight stay at hotel. Tsongmo Lake is one of the most popular destinations for tourists it is located at 43 km from Gangtok. The lake is about 1km long, oval in shape, 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months. On the way to the Lake, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and snow capped mountains. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsongmo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).
Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing And Back To Kalimpong
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for a city tour of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by the venerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Flower Show, Enchey Monastery (the seat of the Karmapa Rimpoche, head of the Karmapa sub-sect of the Kargyudpa order of Tibetan Buddhism), White Hall. After local sightseeing proceed to Kalimpong. Overnight stay at hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 4: Kalimpong Sightseeing And Proceed To Darjeeling
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day sightseeing of the town which includes, tours of Forest Museum (closed on Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr. Grahams Homes School, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham and Pine View Nursery (cactus only). After local sightseeing proceed to Darjeeling and overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Eary morning excursion to Tiger Hill at around 3:45 AM for viewing sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (if the weather is favorable), Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at hotel you will depart for half day city tour of Darjeeling. This includes sightseeing at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sunday), Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast at hotel transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport or your onward journey.
