Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Njp Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport-gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 135 Kms / 4½ -5 Hrs).
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for check-in; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion To Tshangu Lake And Baba Mandir (12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms / 2hrs)
- After breakfast at the hotel you will depart for full day sight seeing of Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight stay at hotel.
- Tshangu Lake: is one of the most popular destinations for tourists; it is located at 43 km from Gangtok. The lake is about 1km long, oval in shape, 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months. On the way to the Lake, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and snow capped mountains. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
- (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).
Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing-kalimpong (4078 Ft/ 1243 Mts/105 Km/ 2-2½ Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for a city tour of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by the venerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Flower Show, Enchey Monastery (the seat of the Karmapa Rimpoche, head of the Karmapa sub-sect of the Kargyudpa order of Tibetan Buddhism), White Hall. After local sight seeing proceed to Kalimpong. Overnight stay at hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 4: Kalimpong Sightseeing-darjeeling (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts/ 65 Kms/ 1½-2 Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day sightseeing of the town which includes, tours of Forest Museum (closed on Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr. Grahams Homes School, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham and Pine View Nursery (cactus only). After local sight seeing proceed to Darjeeling, overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Eary morning excursion to Tiger Hill (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts) at around 3:45 am for viewing sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (if the weather is favorable), Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at hotel you will depart for half day city tour of Darjeeling. This includes sight seeing at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sunday), Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling- Njp Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (105 Kms / 3½-4 Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.

- • Keeping in mind the closing day for sightseeing schedule/room availability itinerary can be changed without prior notice.
- • Please carry the identity proof along with 4 passport size photos per person so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
- • Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 copies of pass – port size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit. (All traveller including child)
- • Permit also require for travelling to North Sikkim (Lachung & Lachen). Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo ID proof. (All traveller including child-School Id or Birth Certificates)
