About the tour
The capital of Sikkim is a unique hill resort of North-East India and undoubtedly one of the most oft-visited ones. Perched on the ridge of a hill at an altitude of 1700 m, Gangtok is famous for its scenic beauty and spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest mountain peak in the world, at an elevation of 28169 ft (8586 m). The town offers a mild temperate climate with a temperature of around 23 degree centigrade in summer and around 6 degree centigrade in winter.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1 : Arrival And Transfer To Gangtok
Our representative will be there to receive guests at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check into a hotel for overnight stay. Evening free to roam around Mall or local shopping center. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals and festivals at a height of 1670 meters /5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies.
Day 2 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing (Full Day)
After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok. Drive for visit to Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, one of the finest monasteries where His holy Dalai Lama stayed for some time, Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls etc. Overnight stay will be back at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 3 : Departure From Gangtok To Siliguri
After breakfast transfer to Siliguri /New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). Nearly 135 kilometers 4 to 5 hours drive will take you to your desired destination from where you will begin journey back homewards.
