About the tour
Jaldapara is situated in the foothills of eastern Himalayas. The river Torsha flows through this rain forest sanctuary which is mostly covered with tall grasses, the sanctuary encompasses a luxuriant vegetation and a rich variety of wildife. The Malangi River also flows nearby from east to west. Riding elephants and 4x4 safaris are the only ways to move inside this forest. An elephant safari is preferred by most people staying at Jaldapara (in holong lodge or tourism lodge) overnight.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport And Transfer To Jaldapara
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station /Bagdogra airport and transfer to Jaldapara. On arrival Check into hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 2: Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary
Early morning at 06:00 hrs visit Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary on back of the Elephant / by Jeep (as per availability and on direct payment basis). Back to hotel for breakfast. Transfer to Lataguri / Chalsa. Overnight stay at Lataguri / Chalsa.
Day 3: Gorumara National Park Local Sightseeing
Early morning at 06:00 hrs visit Gorumara National Park (Watch Tower visit on direct payment basis) by Jeep. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Samsing, Suntalekhola and Murti River side. In afternoon visit another Watch Tower by Jeep. Overnight stay at Lataguri / Chalsa
Day 4: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast Check out from hotel and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
