Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own to take a cruise from Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, then up to Pilatus Kulm 2132 m by the steepest Cogwheel railway in the world. Spend your day at Mt Pilatus and return back to Lucerne. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel, Make your own way and board the historic Wilhelm Tell Paddle Steamer for the cruise to Flüelen (usually operated by paddle steamer, sometimes by motor boat). From Flüelen you continue your journey through the famous Gotthard tunnel to Bellinzona in panorama coach Change train and continue your journey to Lugano. Proceed to the hotel on your own and check into hotel. Overnight in Lugano.
