About the tour

Leh, the capital of Ladakh is situated towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the crossroads of the historic 'Silk Route' from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. Leh, one of the coldest deserts in the world is located at a distance of 434 Kms from Srinagar and 474 Kms from Manali (Himachal Pradesh).

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival At Chandigarh

Arrive Chandigarh. On arrival transfer to hotel at Manali. Overnight stay at manali.

Day 02: Manali To Keylong

After early breakfast drive to Keylong, over crossing the Picturesque Rohtang pass (3980 m) – the gateway to Lahaul & Spiti valley. The first half of the terrain is gradual assent through green patches until we reach at the Rohtang pass. From the pass we descend towards Koksar – an official tea stop, we at meet Chadra River (coming from Spiti) and continue to Keylong. Overall terrain is fine except some bumps over the Rohtang pass. Overnight stay at Keylong.

Day 03: Keylong To Sarchu

Morning drive to Sarchu , over crossing Baralacha pass (4892 m). We follow the Bhaga River via Darcha till Patseo and then assent to Baralacha pass and then descend towards Sarchu. You have to negotiate with the bumps at some places and have to soak in water while crossing Small River. Arrive Sarchu, is the territorial mark between Himachal and Ladakh. Check in and overnight stay at Sarchu.

Day 04: Sarchu To Rumtse

Morning we leave been chanting composite of Sarchu-lingtiplains, the road climbs higher and suddenly mountains cape encounter so far. Continuesly drive over the Lapchungla pass to be followed by the drive through the most remarkable Sekyunehothang plains at the end of Tanglangla pass (5328 mtrs) considered as one of the highest motorable mountain pass in the world. We camp at Rumtse located at the foot of the mighty Tanglangla pass after driving over the pass. Overnight stay at Rumtse.

Day 05: Rumste To Leh

  • After breakfast drive to Leh through the fertile Indus valley.
  • First we visit the Monastery Padmasambhavas, Buddhismus from Tibet after ladakh. Afterwards Tikse, the Grobten Monastery still visits in Ladakh in Gelupka. Afternoon arrive Leh and check into hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 06: Leh

Morning is free for rest. Afternoon visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 07: Leh To Nubra Valley

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

Day 08: Nubra Valley To Leh

After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh over Khardung La. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight stay at leh.

Day 09: Departure From Leh

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

  • Sequence of the day-wise tour program as listed above may change depending upon availability of suitable accommodation at different places and other travel conditions
  • Overnight staying options at Pangong Lake & Tsomo-riri Lake are mainly in tented accommodation/standard cottage with basic & limited facilities. Visitors must be prepared to pass the night at a place where temperature may be quite low even at the height of the summer. The stress of passing the night at high altitude is also to kept in mind
  • Overnight staying option in the Uleytokpo, Nubra Valley is mainly in tented accommodation or standard hotels with facilities which may not be of the same standard as in the hotels being used for the package in Leh
  • All prevailing State and Government taxes applicable on accommodation and transport. In case any hike in the taxes a surcharge will be applicable
  • Suggested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking. In case the same is not available, then the best similar category will be provided
  • The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts. No refund on un-utilized services of the packages. Places / sites not visited as per the given tour route of the day, the same spot will not be revisited on guest’s request except on extra payment
  • The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason
  • Tourist will carry their luggage at own risk and responsibility
  • Itinerary may change due to any climatic condition / non availability of rooms /other natural circumstances
  • Ladakh is high Altitude destination; hence Ladakh trip is not recommended for people with poor heart condition, Epilepsy and asthma
  • Ladakh holiday trip is completely different from other holiday, please realize the hazards involved in this kind of holiday; including injury, disease, inconvenience and discomfort due to weather, mechanical breakdown, local political conditions or other unforeseeable circumstances
  • In Tent accommodation maximum 03 pax are allowed due to limited space
  • The tourism infrastructure of Ladakh region is not very advanced & one should not expect & match the hotel & transport service with the plains & other developed destinations. Flexibility is the whole philosophy of this type of tour. One requires and allows on trip alternatives due to untoward reasons
