Day Wise Itinerary
Srinagar, the summer seat of the government of the state of Jammu and Kashmir has long been one of Indiaâs most popular tourist destinations. In part, this has had to do with the multi-layered character of the city and its several attractions. The inner architecture and scaffolding of these magnificent trees now comes up for display with proud trunks and wiry branches.
Here is how you will spend your time
Day 1: Arrival At Srinagar And Proceed For Local Sightseeing
On arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative and proceed towards Hotel followed by local sightseeing of Srinagar visit Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, Cheshmashi garden, Tulip Garden, Shankaracharya Temple & Hazaratbal Shrine. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. En route visit carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar city overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar To Sonamarg Return To Srinagar
After breakfast, go for a day-long excursion to Sonamarg ('Meadow of Gold'), if you wish to. Ride up to the glacier on a pony (ponies can be hired directly). After making the best of the day, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Srinagar - Excursion To Pahalgam
After breakfast get ready for full day excursion to Pahalgam 98 Km drive en route Saffron field, Awantipura ruin temple and after 40 KM scenic drive to Pahalgam to enjoy lush green mountain of Himalaya and evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay and dinner in Hotel.
