The legend of Kashmir says that at one point there was a beautiful lake here, beloved of the gods. The gods played happily by this lake till a demon began to haunt the land. The villagers sought the help of a holy man who drained the waters of the lake and thus created the valley of Kashmir.

Day 1: Arrival At Srinagar
On time transfer to airport to connect the flight for Srinagar. Meeting and assistance by our representative on arrival and transfer to Hotel or Houseboat, Srinagar. Later trip to Mugul Garden "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty Silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. In second half day visit Shankeracherya Temple. In the evening enjoy Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ”Shikara” witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India and experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. Overnight stay at Srinagar. Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar To Sonamarg To Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for full day excursion to Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. If the Road is closed to Sonamarg our vehicle will stop at Gagagir point from there the road to Sonamarg is 11 Kms far, the guest can hire Ponies or Vehicle (Pay Directly) to climb up for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction. Evening return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar To Pahalgam
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, called as “Valley of Shepherds”. Enroute visit the Awantipur Ruins of 9th Century and Mattan Temple Complex. On arrival at Pahalgam, enjoy the nature and walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes and is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Overnight stay Pahalgam.
Day 4: In Pahalgam
In Pahalgam, free day at leisure for independent activities to explore surroundings. (optional : you can hire vehicle for Sightseeing on Direct Cost basis). Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam To Gulmarg
After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg. Gulmarg's legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 mtrs, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter.
