The Sundarban is the largest littoral mangrove belt in the world, stretching 80km into the Bangladeshi hinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps though, they include some of the last remaining stands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. it is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 spotted deer in the area.
Day 1: Arrival
07:30 AM pick up from energy education park near science city. Packet breakfast with drinking water will be served in car or bus. Arrival at Godhkhali. Tea / coffee, to be served during the journey. Arrival at resorts and lunch as per menu. After lunch departure to Sajnekhali tiger project area for view of wild animals and crocodile project. Visit the museum and watch tower etc. Return to resort. Evening tea / coffee and snacks. As a special arrangement colorful cultural programme of folk dance at the resort by local artists. Buffet dinner as per menu. Retire for the night at the resort accommodation.
Day 2: Visit Sudhanyakhali And Departure
After breakfast visit Sudhanyakhali. Return to Tiger View Point for Lunch. Departure to Godhkhali after lunch for onward journey to Kolkata. Reach Godhkhali for departure to Kolkata.
