About the tour

Tilicho Lake in Nepal in the Annapurna massif is one of the highest lakes in the world. Pangong Tso, which is spread across the border between India and China, and Yamdrok Tso, located in central Tibet.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Gangtok
Meet an greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station o Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake ( timing will depend on the issuance of Permit ) - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and Baba Mandir - The shrine made in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh. Evening free and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Gangtok To Lachung
After breakfast pick up from hotel at Gangtok and transfer to Lachung ( timing will depend on the issuance of Permit ) Via Phodong, Mangan, Singik Chungthang and Maltim. Lunch on the way. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4: Excursion To Yumthang Valley And Back To Lachung
Early Morning visit Yumthang Valley ( Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron ), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis ( Myth ). On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5: Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast leave for Gangtok. On the way stop between singhik, Mangan and if the weather is clear you may get to see the Khangchendzonga Range. This location offers a majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. Visit Phodong Monastery on the way if time permits. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok To Darjeeling
After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, JL Botanical Garden, Do-drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Flower show and Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms (Closed On Sunday). After completion of Gangtok city tour, transfer to Darjeeling. Arrive Darjeeling and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning at 04:00 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway ( optional, ropeway ride ticket to be paid by guest directly). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Darjeeling Departure
Morning free for packing and transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport for return journey.
