Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Bagdogra & Proceed To Darjeeling (75 Kms/approx 2.5 Hrs)
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts) you will be met by our local representative at who will assist you to board your vehicle to to Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts, 100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs). Check in and over night at Hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok (100 Kms/approx 3 Hrs)
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts,116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Afternoon go for a half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Over night in Hotel.
Day 4: Gangtok – Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Feet / 3780 Meters / 43Kilo Meters in 3Hours one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Feet / 3994 Meters / 16Kilo Meters in 1Hours one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400Feet / 3780 Meters / 43Kilo Meters in 3Hours one way, with an average depth of 50 feet. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Departure (130 Kms/approx 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Bagdogra Airport/Jalpaiguri railway station for departure, back to home with beautiful memories of a life time trip.
