About the tour

Port Blair is the largest city and the capital of the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The city gets its name from Lieutenant Archibald Blair, who is said to have established a colony at its site in the year 1789. Notably, this town is home to the infamous Cellular Jail National Memorial, which was formerly a jail where many freedom fighters were incarcerated at the time of Indian Independence Movement.

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Port Blair

Arrival at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to respective Hotel. After check-in and some rest, take a drive towards Corbyn’s Cove Beach, about 7 kms from Port Blair. This coconut palm fringed beach, is ideal for swimming. Later proceed to the National Monument the Cellular Jail, and witness the saga of the Indian Freedom struggle through the Light and Sound Show, held within the same complex. Return to Hotel. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 2: In Havelock Island

After breakfast and as per ferry timing transfer to Jetty to take the onward ferry to Havelock Island. On arrival at Havelock Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check-in to the respective hotel / resort. After check-in, proceed to the Radhanagar Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches on the Islands. The beach has also been ranked 07th among the beaches of Asia by the TIME magazine. Return to hotel / resort. Overnight at Havelock Island.

Day 3: Havelock Island To Elephant Beach

After breakfast proceed to Elephant beach in a sharing fibrespeedboat, this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. It’s also a great place to just spend time lazing on the beach. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some beautiful pictures to take back home. Overnight at Havelock Island.

Day 4: Havelock To Neil Island

After an early breakfast and as per ferry timing proceed to the Jetty to take the Ferry to Neil Island. After check-in at hotel, proceed for sightseeing of this lush green Island is known for its plantations and tropical forests. The pristine white sandy beaches at Sitapur, Bharatpur and Lakshmanpur are worth a visit. The breath-taking view of sea and the lush green forests on the island rejuvenate the senses. Return to hotel. Overnight at Neil Island.

Day 5: Return To Port Blair From Neil Island

Morning at leisure. Later in the afternoon transfer to Havelock Jetty to take the return ferry to Port Blair as per ferry timing. Upon return from Havelock Island, transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.

Day 6: Port Blair To Ross Island And Chidyatapu

After Breakfast visit the Administrative Capital Prior to Independence from where the Britishers governed the entire A & N Islands-Ross Island, A destination for Nature Walk amidst friendly Deer’s and Peacocks.Smritika Museum, records the life of its political prisoners. The Island still houses the Commissioner’s Palace, the bakery, British Officer’s Club, a church and an old cemetery of the British officer’s on the Island though these buildings now lie in ruins. (Subject to availability of tickets or instead Wandoor beach will be covered). After lunch proceed to Chidya tapu – famous for lush green mangroves, forest cover with numerous chirping birds and Sandy beach (Known as the Sunset Point).

Day 7: Port Blair City Tour

After breakfast visit, one of the oldest and Asia's largest - Chatham saw mill established by Britishers in 1836. Visit the National memorial - Cellular jail, designed especially for solitary confinement, it earned the island , the dreaded name of Kala Pani, Anthropological museum - sheds light on the islands tribal inhabitants, Fisheries museum - displays hundreds of species of unusual fish , corals and shells, Samudrika - Naval marine museum, has a superb display of marine life. After lunch visit the Sagarika - cottage industry for shopping.

Day 8: Departure From Port Blair

Departure. Drop at Airport. Return home with memories of a wonderful holiday. (Check out time 0800 Hrs). End of Tour.

  • In case of any unexpected bad weather Condition Or due to any unavoidable circumstance if the ferry/Seaplane/ to Havelock or other island gets cancelled, some other alternative accommodation will be provided in Port Blair and additional night accommodation in Havelock/ Port Blair will be additional charged
  • Mid-tour Cancellation – Yes you can cancel but the amount would be non-refundable.
  • Subject to weather conditions and availability of Ferry Tickets the itinerary may be shuffled
