Originally just a cluster of villages that was administered intermittently by Nepal and Sikkim, Darjeeling grew in prominence during the mid 19th century when, because of its climate, the British first established a hill station there after leasing it from the Chogyal of Sikkim and later discovered that the area was particularly well suited for tea plantations.

Day 1: Arrival At Darjeeling
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling. It is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill queen. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mount Kanchendzonga. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park( both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (optional, rope ride ticket to be paid guest directly). Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok
Morning transfer to Gangtok via Peshok Tea Gardens. On arrival check into hotel. After freshen up start half day sightseeing. Visit The Banjhakhri Water Falls, Cable car ( Own Ticket ), Botanical garden, Do-drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Flower show and Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms(Closed on Sunday).
