Day 1: Arrival At Guwahati And Transfer To Nameri

Day 4: Dirang To Tawang
After breakfast transfer to Tawang. While going to Tawang you will be visiting Jaswant Garh, The war memorial is located 14 kms from Sella Pass on the way to Tawang. Visit Sella Pass, The entry point into the Tawang Valley. The glimpse of Paradise Lake in the Sella Pass makes your visit worth. Most of the time the lake is covered with thick blanket of snow. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 5: Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, full day sightseeing in Tawang which includes The Tawang Monastery (Vihar). The monastery is also called Galden Namgey Lhatse meaning celestial paradise. There is a magnificent 8 meter high statue of Lord Buddha. The ancient library inside the courtyard has an excellent collection of thangas, painted with the blood from the nose of 5th Dalai Lama and valuable Buddhist manuscripts mainly Kanjur and Tanjur numbering 850 bundles. Then visit Urgelling Monastery. It is the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. Inside the monastery there are several Stupas (Vihar) and people from all walks of life visit this place during Buddhist New Year to get the blessing for the coming year. The craft centre in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dress and delightful affordable mementos. Visit Tawang War Memorial. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 6: Tawang To Dirang
After breakfast transfer from Tawang to Dirang. En-route visit Jung Falls. Jung is the valley that lies between Sella and Tawang. Dirang is an ideal hill resort in West Kameng district with beautiful Apple Nursery, Kiwi Farm, Yak Research Centre, Buddhist Gompa, Hot Water Spring and ancient Dirang Jong (Fort). It is the base camp for trekking to Gorichen peak and other bird watching trails. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 7: Dirang To Tezpur
After breakfast, transfer from Dirang to Tezpur. En route visit Bomdila. Bomdila is a picturesque town in the foothills of Himalayas. One can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad Gorichen ranges of the Himalaya on a clear day. With its apple orchards, Buddhist gomphas and a magnificent view of the Kameng Valley Bomdila can be named as a mini paradise. Bomdila is also an ideal place for nature lovers with several trekking and hiking trails. Visit Bomdila Monastery and Craft Centre. Bomdila also offers a Bird's eye view of Kangto and Gorichen peaks (highest peaks in the state) amidst the Himalayan landscape and snow clad ranges. Overnight at Tezpur.
Day 8: Tezpur To Kaziranga
Day 9: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant i.e. Elephant Safari (Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion). At 5.30AM start for both central range ‘Kohora’ and western range ‘Bagori’. At 6:30 AM return to the hotel or resort for breakfast. After breakfast take little rest. Afternoon around 01.45 PM you have Jeep Safari in Central range. Optional: Bihu Dance could be organized on request in the evening. Note: The Park is open during the winter months of the dry season from the beginning of November to the end of April. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 10: Kaziranga To Shillong
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and then drive to Shillong. The ‘Gleneagles of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. En-route visit Umiam Lake or Barapani Park. Evening visit famous Police Bazaar of Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 11: Shillong Sightseeing
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Shillong. The ‘Gleneagles of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. Visit Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Culture, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden which offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants and rare collection of orchids. Butterfly Museum is a storehouse of finest and rarest species of butterflies and moths. Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with stretches of roses and exquisite flowers. The Mini Zoo adjacent to the park has about 73 birds, 140 reptiles and mammals. Golf Course is one of the largest Golf courses in Asia. Spend the evening in the splendid arena. State Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. Shillong Peak displays a mesmerizing view of the scenic country side. A unique spot of Shillong is Archery Stakes. Agambling sport which is held every day (except Sundays) at 4.00 PM. Later come back to hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, return back to Guwahati Airport or Railway station for your departure. Your tour ends here with pleasant memories.
