Day 1: Arrival And Transfer To Pelling
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Pelling. Upon arrival proceed to hotel for check in. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling. Pelling - located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters and commands a spectacular view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Overnight at hotel in Pelling.
Day 2: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel you will be taken for full day sightseeing. This includes Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake. It is one of the most sacred and holy lakes for the Buddhists, Kechopaln Monastry, Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. Return to hotel for an overnight stay in Pelling.
Day 3: Pelling To Gangtok
After breakfast at hotel you will be transferred to Gangtok. After reaching, you will be taken to a half day city tour of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by the venerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Enchey Monastry, White Hall and Flower Show. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4: Excursion To Tsongmo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast start for excursion to Tsongmo Lake and through Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and Baba Mandir. No entry for foreigner national, they are allowed to visit tillTsongmo Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 and above in number to visit Tsongmo Lake. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at hotel. (Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided). Optional tour to Nathula and Baba Mandir. One can opt for Nathula excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Nathula permit gets confirmed 24 hrs prior to the journey date and it is subjected to permit availability as it is allotted as per lottery. Nathula is closed on Monday and Tuesday for tourist. Organizing the permit at the last moment is not possible and a clear window of 72 Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast at hotel transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
